A considered purchase starts with useful questions. These five checks help you compare what is being offered without relying on a headline discount alone.

1. Read the specific variation

Check size, model, colour and quantity. A photograph can show several items while the selected price relates to just one.

2. Identify the seller

The marketplace, the seller and the delivery provider can be different organisations. Look for the seller’s details and the route for order support.

3. Compare the complete description

Read dimensions, materials and included accessories. If a claim matters to you, look for the evidence or ask the seller before buying.

4. Review the total cost

Check delivery charges and the final checkout total. Do not assume a crossed-out price proves that an item is the best value.

5. Keep a record

Save the order confirmation and relevant product details. Check the retailer’s current return process and contact route. For an Amazon purchase, your order page is the place to start.
